We finished the topic morphology this week. In morphology, I learnt types of morphmes, allomorphs, word structure and word formation processes. We learnt on word formation processes this week. I jus knew that words can be made by many ways such as affixation, compounding, reduplication, clipping, acronymy and other minor processes.
Besides that, we went into the new topic that is syntax. We learnt the defination of syntax, syntax rules and phrases. Our lecturer gave us examples on all of this which made us more understand. I hope that I can cope with it.
We did a presentation on minimal pairs. Our group did a good job. We got all the minimal pairs correctly. My group members and I worked very hard to complete this task. Now, we were doing the language games on word formation. We will try our best to do it.
